Description:
The Hirschkrone Pilotknife, manufactured by Rudolf Weber Jr., is the official issue fixed blade knife for pilots of the German Bundeswehr (Federal Defense) United Airforce of Germany Flying Corps. It boasts a number of fascinating and useful features: Aggressive jimping on the spine for your thumb, fine serrations at the base of the blade, a sharpened portion on the spine, and a guard to keep your fingers safe. The blade is differentially hardened, with the edge and tip being harder and the tang and spine being more flexible. This makes for a very sharp, very tough cutting tool. The Pilotknife’s handle is attractive Palisandre wood, and it includes a plain leather sheath with a belt loop. This tactical fixed blade is for all you knife enthusiasts who are done mess(er)ing around. 😉
